## Challenge Types and Pricing

Upscale offers three challenge types. Minimum entry price is $59 (RWA 5k Basic).

### Basic — Standard Two-Stage Challenge

Stage 1: 5% profit target, min 3 profitable days, 5% max daily loss, 10% max total loss.
Stage 2: 8% profit target, min 5 profitable days, 5% max daily loss, 10% max total loss.

Asset categories explained:
- Crypto: Crypto perpetual futures only
- RWA: Forex and commodity pairs only

All challenges offer an optional upgrade from 80/20 to 90/10 profit split.

## Profitable Day Definition

A day qualifies as a Profitable Day when the balance change between the start and end of the day is ≥ 0.5% of the initial balance. This threshold remains fixed at 0.5% of starting balance throughout the trading period. Unrealized PnL from open positions counts toward the daily balance change.

## Funded Account Rules

After passing a challenge (or purchasing Turbo), traders receive a funded account.

## Profit Split

Default: 80% to trader, 20% to Upscale.
Optional upgrade: 90% to trader, 10% to Upscale (available at challenge purchase).

## Withdrawal Rules

Requirements for payout request:
- Minimum 14 calendar days in the billing period
- At least 5 profitable trading days in that period
- No risk parameter violations
- No open positions on paused RWA markets (forex/commodities pause Sat 00:00 – Mon 03:00 Moscow time)
- Payout amount: $1 to available profit (subject to limits below)
- Must be available as Free Margin
- USDT wallet address required (non-custodial wallets recommended)

### 30% Rule (Turbo Only)

For Turbo accounts, if the most profitable day represents 30% or more of total profit in the current billing period, withdrawal is temporarily unavailable. The trader must generate additional profit to dilute the concentration below 30%.

Upscale supports 200+ instruments across three categories:

- Crypto: BTC, ETH, SOL, DOGE, XRP, ADA, AVAX, LINK, DOT, UNI, and many more perpetual futures
- RWA (Forex): EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, AUD/USD, and other major/minor pairs
- RWA (Commodities): XAU/USD (Gold), XAG/USD (Silver), WTI (Oil)

## Leverage

Leverage tiers vary by asset:

- BTC/ETH: up to 150x
- Major altcoins (SOL, XRP, etc.): up to 100x
- Smaller altcoins: up to 50x

- Trading fee: 0.008% per position open/close
- Spread: Zero spread for BTC/ETH when positions opened 1+ hour apart; market spread otherwise
- Funding: Standard perpetual futures funding rates (8-hour intervals)

## Price Oracles

Upscale uses Pyth Network — a decentralized oracle providing real-time price feeds from multiple sources. This ensures transparent, manipulation-resistant pricing. Prices are verifiable on-chain.

## Drawdown Protection

### Daily Drawdown (Basic and Accelerated only)
Calculated from balance at start of day (00:00 UTC). If equity drops below the limit at any point during the day, the account is immediately terminated.

### Maximum Drawdown
- Basic: 10% from initial capital (fixed floor)
- Accelerated: 6% from initial capital (fixed floor)
- Turbo: 6% from peak balance (trailing — moves up but never down)

## Order Types

- Market Order: Execute immediately at current market price
- Limit Order: Execute at specified price or better
- Stop Market: Trigger market order when price reaches stop level
- Stop Limit: Trigger limit order when price reaches stop level
- Take Profit (TP): Close position at target profit level
- Stop Loss (SL): Close position to limit losses

## Margin Management

- Initial Margin: Capital required to open a position
- Maintenance Margin: Minimum equity to keep position open
- Margin Ratio = (Maintenance Margin / Account Equity) × 100%
- When margin ratio reaches 100%, liquidation is triggered

## Liquidation

When maintenance margin requirements are no longer met, positions are liquidated starting with the largest position. Liquidation is a safety mechanism — proper risk management and stop-losses help avoid it.

## Account Scaling

Traders can hold up to 4 accounts under one profile. Maximum total capital allocation across all accounts: $1,200,000. A reserve queue system manages capital allocation when limits are reached.
