Upscale Trade FAQs
Getting Started with Upscale
What is Upscale and how does it work?
Upscale is a proprietary trading platform that provides traders with funded accounts ranging from $5,000 to $200,000. Traders pay a one-time challenge fee starting at $59, pass an evaluation to demonstrate consistent profitability and risk control, and receive a funded account with an 80–90% profit split. All payouts are made in USDT to a non-custodial wallet. Upscale requires no KYC or identity verification — registration is available via Telegram, Google, or a crypto wallet. The platform is built on a TradingView-based terminal with decentralized price feeds powered by Pyth Network.
How do I create an account on Upscale?
To create an account, open @UpscaleTradeBot or visit Upscale.trade. Sign in using Telegram, Google, or a crypto wallet (MetaMask, Tonkeeper, Phantom, Trust Wallet, OKX Wallet, and others are supported). No documents, identity verification, or KYC process is required. After signing in, select a challenge type, choose your account size, and complete payment to begin trading.
Does Upscale require KYC or identity verification?
No. Upscale does not require KYC, identity documents, or any verification process. Traders sign in using Telegram, Google, or a crypto wallet and can start trading immediately after purchasing a challenge. Payouts are processed directly to a non-custodial USDT wallet provided by the trader.
What are the age and location requirements?
Traders must be of legal age according to the laws of their country of residence. There are no geographic restrictions — Upscale is accessible to traders worldwide. The platform operates from Dubai and is available via both a web application and a Telegram mini-app.
Is there a free demo account on Upscale?
Yes. Upscale offers a free demo account with access to all asset categories — Crypto, RWA (Forex, Commodities, Indices), and ALL Markets. The demo replicates real market conditions and challenge rules. After passing both demo evaluation phases, traders receive a demo funded account. When requesting a demo payout, the platform issues a one-time 20% discount on a real challenge.
Challenge Types & Pricing
What challenge types does Upscale offer?
Upscale offers three challenge types:
Basic — a two-phase evaluation. Phase 1 requires 5% profit with a minimum of 3 profitable days. Phase 2 requires 8% profit with a minimum of 5 profitable days. Maximum daily drawdown is 5%, and maximum total drawdown is 10%.
Accelerated — a single-phase evaluation. The profit target is 10% with a minimum of 3 profitable days. Maximum daily drawdown is 3%, and maximum total drawdown is 6%.
Turbo (Instant Funding) — no evaluation phase. Traders receive a funded account immediately. There is no profit target. Maximum total drawdown is 6%, calculated from the highest balance reached (trailing). A minimum of 5 profitable days is required before the first withdrawal.
How much does an Upscale challenge cost?
Challenge fees depend on the account size and asset category. The minimum entry is $59 for a $5,000 RWA Basic challenge. Prices for Basic challenges range from $59 to $1,499, Accelerated from $69 to $1,599, and Turbo from $199 to $1,099. Turbo is available for account sizes up to $25,000. Full pricing is listed on the Upscale pricing page.

What is the difference between Basic, Accelerated, and Turbo challenges?
| Parameter | Basic | Accelerated | Turbo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evaluation phases | 2 | 1 | None (instant funding) |
| Profit target | 5% + 8% | 10% | No target |
| Max daily drawdown | 5% | 3% | None |
| Max total drawdown | 10% (from initial) | 6% (from initial) | 6% (from highest balance) |
| Min profitable days | 3 (Phase 1), 5 (Phase 2) | 3 | 5 (for withdrawal) |
| Account sizes | $5K–$200K | $5K–$200K | $5K–$25K |
| Lowest entry fee | $59 | $69 | $199 |
Basic is suited for traders who prefer lower risk limits and a structured two-step evaluation. Accelerated is designed for experienced traders who want to reach funding faster with a single phase. Turbo provides immediate access to a funded account with no evaluation, but uses a trailing drawdown calculated from the highest balance.
What are the profit targets and how are they calculated?
Profit targets are based on realized PnL only — meaning only closed trades count toward the target. Open (unrealized) profit does not apply.
For Basic challenges, the Phase 1 target is 5% of the initial balance (e.g., $500 on a $10,000 account), and the Phase 2 target is 8% (e.g., $800 on a $10,000 account). For Accelerated challenges, the single-phase target is 10% (e.g., $1,000 on a $10,000 account). Turbo has no profit target — traders begin on a funded account immediately.
What payment methods does Upscale accept?
Upscale accepts the following payment methods:
Available in both the Telegram app and web version: Telegram Stars, TON (Toncoin), and USDT on the TON network.
Available in the web version only: USDT (TRC-20, BEP-20, ERC-20), USDC (ERC-20), ETH, BNB (BEP-20), TRX, and SBP (Russian fast payment system).
Supported wallets include Tonkeeper, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, OKX Wallet, Phantom, Rainbow, WalletConnect, and others. The payment method does not affect trading capital or account conditions.
Risk Management & Trading Rules
What is the maximum daily drawdown on Upscale?
The maximum daily drawdown depends on the challenge type. For Basic challenges and funded accounts after Basic, the daily drawdown limit is 5% of the initial capital. For Accelerated challenges and funded accounts after Accelerated, the limit is 3%. Turbo accounts have no separate daily drawdown limit — only a total drawdown limit applies.
Daily drawdown is calculated from the account balance at the start of each trading day. The trading day resets at 00:00 UTC. Each day is evaluated independently — losses from previous days do not carry over into the next day's limit.
What is the maximum total drawdown?
For Basic challenges and funded accounts after Basic, the maximum total drawdown is 10% of the initial balance. For Accelerated challenges and funded accounts after Accelerated, the limit is 6% of the initial balance. For Turbo, the maximum total drawdown is 6% of the highest balance ever reached — this is a trailing drawdown that adjusts upward as the account grows and downward after withdrawals.
Example for Turbo: if the starting balance is $10,000 and grows to $12,000, the new minimum allowed balance becomes $11,280 (6% below $12,000). After a $1,000 withdrawal bringing the balance to $11,000, the new minimum becomes $10,340 (6% below $11,000).
What happens if I violate a drawdown limit?
If either the daily or total drawdown limit is breached, the account is immediately terminated. All open positions are force-closed at market price, all pending orders are canceled, accumulated profit is forfeited, and access to the account is permanently revoked. This applies to both evaluation and funded phases.
What are profitable days and how do they work?
A profitable day is any trading day where the realized profit reaches at least 0.5% of the initial account balance. For example, on a $10,000 account, the minimum profit for a day to qualify is $50. Only closed trades count.
The minimum number of profitable days varies by challenge type: Basic Phase 1 requires 3 profitable days, Basic Phase 2 and all funded accounts require 5 profitable days, Accelerated requires 3, and Turbo requires 5 before the first withdrawal. Profitable days can be accumulated over any timeframe — there is no deadline. The trading day resets at 00:00 UTC.
Are there any restricted trading strategies on Upscale?
Upscale prohibits two specific practices: using the same trading strategy simultaneously across multiple accounts (coordinated or mirrored trading across accounts), and the use of automated trading software, bots, or algorithmic execution tools. All other strategies — including scalping, swing trading, news-based trading, and position holding — are permitted. There are no restrictions on hold time, number of trades per day, or lot sizing within the allowed leverage limits.
Trading Platform & Assets
What assets can I trade on Upscale?
Upscale offers three asset categories, selected at the time of challenge purchase:
Crypto — over 100 cryptocurrency pairs including BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, DOGE, and others. Crypto markets are available 24/7.
RWA (Real World Assets) — 7 Forex pairs (USDEUR, USDGBP, USDJPY, USDAUD, USDNZD, USDCAD, USDCHF), 2 Commodities (XAU/gold and XAG/silver), and Indices traded via ETFs (SPY, QQQM, DIA, IWM). RWA markets operate Monday 00:00 UTC through Friday 21:00 UTC, with a weekend pause.
ALL Markets — full access to both Crypto and RWA categories.
Index prices on Upscale reflect ETF share prices, not index point values. For example, S&P 500 exposure is provided through the SPY ETF.
What trading platform does Upscale use?
Upscale provides a TradingView-based trading terminal accessible via the web at upscale.trade and through a Telegram mini-app. The terminal includes full charting, order management, portfolio tracking, and account analytics. Price feeds are decentralized and powered by Pyth Network oracles. The platform supports five languages: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese.
What leverage is available on Upscale?
Leverage levels depend on the challenge type and asset category:
Crypto:
| Challenge Type | Available Leverage |
|---|---|
| Basic (all phases) | 1:5 |
| Accelerated (all phases) | 1:5 |
| Turbo (Instant Funding) | 1:2 |
RWA (Real World Assets):
| Category | Basic / Accelerated | Turbo |
|---|---|---|
| Commodities | 1:10 | 1:5 |
| Indices | 1:15 | 1:5 |
| Forex | 1:100 | 1:30 |
Turbo accounts have lower leverage limits across all categories. Leverage selection should align with the trader's experience level and risk management strategy.
What are the trading fees and commissions on Upscale?
Upscale charges a fixed commission on each position open and close. For Crypto, the rate is 0.008% per action on Basic and Accelerated challenges, and 0.06% on Turbo. For RWA assets, the rate is 0.0035% on Basic and Accelerated, and 0.007% on Turbo.
Spreads for Crypto are dynamic and depend on the pair and market conditions. BTC and ETH have zero spread when positions are opened more than 1 hour apart; otherwise, market spread applies. BTC and ETH closing spread is always zero. RWA assets have a fixed spread of 0.0015%, charged on open only. XAU and XAG spreads increase to 0.0065% outside exchange hours (weekdays before 08:00 or after 21:00 UTC, and on holidays).
Funding fees apply to positions held over time and vary by asset.
What are Upscale's trading hours?
Crypto markets are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with no interruptions.
RWA markets (Forex, Commodities, and Indices) operate from Monday 00:00 UTC to Friday 21:00 UTC. During the weekend pause, no new positions can be opened on RWA assets. Existing positions remain open but funding is not charged. Withdrawal requests are unavailable while RWA positions are open during the pause. NYSE trading hours apply for Indices.
Funded Account & Withdrawals
How do I get a funded account on Upscale?
After passing all evaluation phases (two for Basic, one for Accelerated), the funded account is activated automatically. For Turbo, the funded account is active from day one — no evaluation is required. On a funded account, the same risk parameters from the challenge type apply: daily and total drawdown limits carry over. All open positions and pending orders are automatically closed when transitioning between evaluation phases.
What is the profit split on a funded account?
The default profit split is 80/20 — the trader keeps 80% of all profits, and Upscale retains 20%. An optional 90/10 split is available as an add-on at the time of challenge purchase, increasing the trader's share to 90%. The 90/10 option is particularly beneficial for consistently profitable traders, as the additional 10% compounds over multiple payout cycles.
How do payouts work and how often can I withdraw?
Payouts are processed in USDT to a non-custodial wallet address provided by the trader. The first withdrawal becomes available 14 calendar days after the funded account is activated. After each successful withdrawal, a new 14-day cycle begins before the next payout can be requested. Each cycle requires a minimum of 5 profitable days and compliance with all risk parameters. Only one withdrawal request is allowed per cycle — even if only a partial amount is withdrawn, the window closes until the next cycle.
What are the withdrawal limits per payout cycle?
Each payout cycle has a maximum withdrawal amount based on the account size:
| Account Size | Max Withdrawal (%) | Max Withdrawal ($) |
|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | 50% | $2,500 |
| $10,000 | 40% | $4,000 |
| $25,000 | 40% | $10,000 |
| $50,000 | 25% | $12,500 |
| $100,000 | 20% | $20,000 |
| $200,000 | 15% | $30,000 |
If earned profit exceeds the cycle limit, the remainder stays on the account balance and can be withdrawn in subsequent cycles. Excess profit also serves as an additional buffer against the maximum drawdown threshold. Upscale deducts a 10–20% platform fee from each withdrawal; the exact payout amount is displayed before confirmation.
What is the 30% consistency rule for Turbo withdrawals?
The 30% rule applies only to Turbo (Instant Funding) accounts. If the most profitable single day within a payout cycle accounts for 30% or more of the total profit earned in that cycle, the withdrawal is temporarily blocked. The trader must accumulate additional profit to dilute the share of the largest day below 30%. Example: if total profit is $2,500 and the best day generated $1,500 (60% of total), the withdrawal is blocked. The trader needs to earn an additional $2,500 to bring total profit to $5,000, reducing the best day's share to 30%. This rule encourages consistent trading patterns rather than reliance on a single outsized result.
Account Rules & Limits
Can I have multiple funded accounts at the same time?
Yes. Traders can hold multiple funded accounts simultaneously, up to a combined capital allocation of $400,000. If a trader passes additional challenges that would exceed this cap, the new accounts enter a reserve queue and are activated once existing allocation is freed. The $400,000 limit applies to the total initial balance of all active funded accounts.
What happens if my account is inactive for an extended period?
If no trades are placed for 90 consecutive days, the account is frozen. A frozen account can be reactivated by contacting Upscale support. There is no automatic account termination due to inactivity — the account and its balance are preserved during the freeze.
What happens when I transition between challenge phases?
When moving from Phase 1 to Phase 2 of a Basic challenge, all open positions are automatically closed at market price and all pending limit orders are canceled. The new phase starts with a fresh balance equal to the initial account size. This applies only to Basic challenges — Accelerated has a single phase, and Turbo has no evaluation phase.
